I purchased seven new songs yesterday off of itunes. The first being What I've Done by Linkin Park which is the first single off of their new album Minutes to Midnight which will be released May 15th in North America. My first impression was rather bad when I found out that vocally Mike Shinoda is nowhere to be found in this song. Combined with the knowledge that Linkin Park is getting away from their nu-metal sounds of Hybrid Theory and Meteora and my outlook was quite grim. I decided to give it a second chance though, and after seeing the music video I must say that while it isn't my favorite Linkin Park song, it is quite good.

It's Baseball Time

Opening Day 2007. Those words bring music to my ears. The first games in the beginning of April start a roller coaster ride that extends all the way through September and into October for eight lucky teams. The highlight of last season was so fantastic it cannot be expressed in words alone. However, that was 2006 and this April Fool's Day ushers in a whole new season. I would love to see the Tigers win the World Series, but watching years of Tigers baseball has taught me never to put too much faith in them. Especially now that the AL Central has gone from league worst to league best. However, I am still confident in their ability to win the American League again, even with Kenny Rogers out for the time being. With that said, it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy this seven month ride.
